Thank you for visiting my website. Please know that ALL images are OIL PAINTINGS unless obvious photos of people . I am a detail nut
It's the week before Christmas 2013. Hard to believe. So much happening in our world and in my studio. My originals are finding homes and I'm traveling and creating new ones.
Here is the first two paintings in a series of wild mustangs from northern Nevada. Rough, ragged, independent yet very devoted to their bands. The top painting is of two battling stallions. The black one in the front is named, "Challenger" hence the name of the painting. He has a pinto mare and roan baby that he fearlessly protected all day. I swear he acted as if his little one was thee ONLY baby foal in the world. An awesome Dad, I'd say. The next piece is of two members of another band that came down to the pond we were monitoring to drink. They were hot and thirsty. My friends and I photographed for a few hours but in 102 degrees with no shade, I faded fast. Dang! I wanted to be in the water with the mustangs.

Below is a touching portrait for a dear man and his awesome dog, Tanner. Tanner has just passed on to Doggie heaven. Probably hunting to his heart's desire. The love and devotion between these two are touching and inspiring. It was great fun to paint this
portrait for Shay. I loved this so much I used it in an ad in Southwest Art Magazine (July/Aug)
